From the moment we arrived, Fiona's warm welcome, complemented by a delightful afternoon cream tea filled with fresh cakes, made us feel right at home. The beautifully refurbished farmhouse blends character with comfort perfectly; our room boasted lovely views and all the necessary amenities-a true haven after days spent exploring the picturesque surroundings. A highlight of our stay was the breakfast, which offered a remarkable range of choices and was all cooked to order, including the delightful home-baked bread. Being an avid lover of historic settings, I adored the ambiance of the old farm, especially while watching the gentle Shire horses in the surrounding pastures. This farm isn't just a luxurious getaway; it invites you to connect with nature and immerse yourself in its rich heritage. For anyone considering a visit, especially those travelling with furry companions like my rescue dog, Taffy, the warm-hearted atmosphere will genuinely make you feel part of the family.
